WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?
A life coach assists clients in achieving their goals by gaining greater clarity of any obstacles or challenges holding them back and then constructing a collaborative plan to tackle those. This may happen in several ways depending on the coach's skill set, training and experience and whether this is implemented in an individual or organisational context. Coaching can support individuals in their work, life, health, relationships and personal development. It can also support teams with goals, performance optimisation, managing stress and burnout, and team cohesion..

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Danny, a Mental Health and Performance Coach with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and organisations to think, feel and perform better.

My journey into understanding mental health began in 2008, when my mother was diagnosed with a long-term mental health condition. Not long after, my mental health declined and I felt completely overwhelmed and lost. That experience created a powerful desire for change and I wanted to understand how I could better support myself, my mum, and others going through similar struggles.
That personal chapter continues to shape the work I do today.

My professional journey began as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and over time my focus evolved into working with individuals and teams under pressure, helping them perform at their best without sacrificing their wellbeing. Over the past decade, I’ve coached more than 1,500 clients across 45 organisations, supporting them to reach personal and professional goals in career, wellbeing, relationships, and leadership.

I combine science, strategy and experience, drawing on evidence-based tools from Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MSc). My work is grounded in a solution-focused, person-centred approach that helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Rather than focusing on what's wrong, we build on what’s strong. Together, we create space for growth, alignment and agency, helping you move from simply getting by to truly thriving in a way that feels authentic to you.

We will identify negative thoughts or behavioural patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and create a sustainable infrastructure for you to flourish beyond our work together.
What are the qualities you have as a life coach?
My work with you comes from a place of openness, honesty, trust and respect. With these fundamental principles in place, I believe all individuals have the space and opportunity to grow and develop regardless of circumstances. The methods and techniques I implement as a Coach are evidence-based, rigorously tested and more often than not once I have applied or experienced myself.
